These Legal Notices apply to Kosmo, including the website (www.kosmohousing.com), our forms (Search, Offer, Team Up), and our Instagram account @kosmo.housing.
 

By using Kosmo, you agree to the conditions described below.

1. Who we are

Kosmo is a student-to-student housing network whose purpose is to help students find, offer, or share housing in a simple, safe, and human way.

Kosmo operates mainly through:
 

  • an informational website,

  • Google Forms (Search, Offer, Team Up),

  • and Instagram (@kosmo.housing), where student Stories are shared.

2. Purpose of Kosmo

Kosmo is designed to connect verified students through housing.

The purpose of Kosmo is to:
 

  • Help students find housing (Search Form)

  • Help students offer or sublease their place (Offer Form)

  • Help students find roommates and form groups (Team Up Form)

  • Facilitate connections between students through Instagram

  • Provide a safer, more human, and community-based alternative to traditional housing platforms


Kosmo does not:
 

  • act as a real estate agent,

  • manage rentals,

  • sign contracts,

  • or guarantee housing availability.
     

Housing arrangements are made directly between students.

3. Intellectual Property

All text, visuals, templates, logos, designs, and content published by Kosmo are the exclusive property of Kosmo unless stated otherwise.

Any reproduction, modification, or reuse without written authorization is strictly forbidden.

Students retain ownership of photos and information they submit, but grant Kosmo permission to use them for
Story creation and community sharing (as described in our Privacy Policy).

4. Limitation of Liability

Kosmo facilitates student connections but cannot guarantee:
 

  • the accuracy of information submitted by users,

  • the quality, legality, or availability of housing,

  • the behavior or reliability of other students,

  • successful matches or outcomes.
     

Users remain fully responsible for verifying housing conditions, contracts, payments, and safety.

Kosmo cannot be held liable for housing agreements or disputes between students.

5. Personal Data & GDPR Compliance

Kosmo complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal data is collected via Kosmo Forms and processed according to our Privacy Policy


Users have the right to access, correct, or delete their data at any time by contacting: kosmo.housing@gmail.com


Kosmo never sells personal data.

6. External Links

Kosmo may include links to third-party websites (Instagram, Forms…).
Kosmo is not responsible for the content or legal compliance of these external platforms.

7. Applicable Law

These Legal Notices are governed by the laws of France.
Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts, in accordance with applicable procedural rules.

9. Updates to this Legal Notice

Kosmo may update this Legal Notice from time to time to comply with legal requirements or reflect changes in the service. Any modification will appear on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
